1. Data controller

HorecaCareer, a recruitment platform specialised in the hospitality sector (hotels, restaurants, cafés). Contact: info@horeca-career.be

2. Data collected

• Candidates: last name, first name, email address, CV, work experience and profile data.
• Recruiters: last name, first name, email address, company information.
• Visitors: anonymised browsing data (analytics cookies, with consent only).

3. Purposes of processing

• Connecting candidates and recruiters
• Managing user accounts
• Sending job alerts (with consent)
• Improving the service (anonymised analytics)

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

Processing is based on the performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) for essential features, and on your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) for job alerts and analytics cookies.

5. Data retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active and is automatically deleted within 30 days of closing the account, subject to legal obligations (3 years maximum).

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection. You can exercise them from your candidate area (account settings) or by email: info@horeca-career.be

7. Cookies

We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) only after your explicit consent through the banner shown on your first visit.

8. Transfers outside the EU

Google Analytics 4 may transfer data to servers located outside the European Union, covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
