Terms of sale

1. Seller

HorecaCareer's paid services (horeca-career.be) are sold by HorecaCareer . Contact: info@horeca-career.be.

2. Scope and customers

These terms apply to purchases made in the recruiter area (“Plan & invoices” and the job list). The services are intended for professionals (venues, companies, agencies) who are hiring, and supplement the site's terms of use.

3. Services

• Plans (Standard, Premium): number of jobs online at the same time, CV database contacts per month and the features listed on the plans page, monthly or yearly.
• Single job ad: one job online for 30 days, on top of the plan's jobs.
• CV contact pack: a number of candidate contact details to unlock, valid for 90 days, used after the plan's monthly contacts.
• Featured (7 days) and urgent job (7 days) for a published job.

The content and price of each service are shown before payment. Contacts not used by the end of the month or of the pack's validity are not carried over.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in euros excluding VAT; Belgian VAT (21%) is added at payment. Payment is made online through a secure payment provider (card, Bancontact, SEPA direct debit or another method offered). HorecaCareer never has access to card numbers. An invoice is emailed after each payment and remains available in “Plan & invoices”.

5. Duration and renewal of plans

A plan starts at payment and lasts one month or one year, as chosen. It renews automatically for the same duration, at the current price, by charging the saved payment method, unless renewal is stopped before the due date. Options (single job ad, pack, featured, urgent job) are one-off purchases with no renewal.

6. Stopping or changing a plan

Renewal can be stopped at any time from “Plan & invoices”. The plan stays active until the end of the paid period, after which the business moves to the free plan; jobs, applications and messages are kept. When changing plans, the new plan applies as soon as it is paid.

7. Failed payment

If a renewal cannot be charged, the recruiter is notified by email and can update the payment method. The plan stays active for 3 day(s) after the due date; without payment, the business then moves to the free plan.

8. Right of withdrawal and refunds

As the services are bought by professionals and provided immediately after payment, there is no right of withdrawal. A period that has started is not refunded. If a technical problem prevents the use of a paid service, contact us and we will offer a solution (extension, credit or refund).

9. Liability

HorecaCareer connects recruiters and candidates but does not guarantee a number of applications or the outcome of a hire. The recruiter remains responsible for the content of their jobs and for the use of candidates' contact details, in line with the GDPR and the privacy policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Brussels.
